Interesting subject Tim,
for me it's mostly point-and-click in N1MM. I use a gamer mouse to control 8
functions with it (grab, AGN, CQ repeat, dual CQ, etc). For me it's second
nature and use the keyboard to correct calls or trying pulling a weak one out,
send a quick message manually or just to rest my arm and change position from
time to time. In intensive SO2R with multiple decoders, the automated
functions, grab, etc would work well if everything would just happen as in a
perfect contest scenario. But it ain't....
I tried all kinds of combinations and to date I feel the most comfortable and
productive when using mouse and P&C.
Maybe WL (which I have never used) would be just as productive using the
keyboard instead. ?...
I also do less damage when spilling coffee (a conteser's classic of course)
which inevitably ends up on the keyboard and more rarely on the mouse :)
