pFSK still keys the FSK input on the radio just like regular FSK, so the
radio's FSK quality will be the same in either case.

There is a potential timing issue that Joe W4TV commented on, but that has
to do the the PC and Windows, not the radio.

That is all true.  But the pFSK has some advantages on the quality of 
the FSK over a lot of the FSK that is generated in many specific 
radio's.  You can actually see this in the signal using 2-Tone which is 
why I built up a pFSK unit to mess with.
