produce a Cabrillo formatted file within days of the end of
operations.

Make that ADIF file ... Cabrillo loses too much data and does no
have a consistent format from contest to contest. For example,
Cabrillo does not distinguish among RTTY, PSK31, PSK63, JT65, etc.
nor does it distinguish among SSB, AM, FM.

Have to agree with Joe on this one. I have no way of knowing of course, but it sounds to
me as if one or more of the KS operators was doing paper logging. Now those paper logs
have to be manually retyped by some "volunteer" into a computerized log that
can generate a Cabrillo file!

Hindsight is always 20-20, but it seems to me that the coordinators should
insist that anyone seeking to be a W1AW/P operator must do computer logging and
produce a Cabrillo formatted file within days of the end of operations.

*TWO MONTHS!* after the operation ... that's absurd! Two weeks
is an appropriate time period. If someone can't devote the
effort necessary to see that the logs are collected immediately
and forwarded to Newington within the week, they should *NEVER*
be permitted to be coordinator of an operation like that.
