On behalf of everyone, I'm pleased they've taken the safe option and left there for a short time, I would expect. No one hurt injured or missing is a fabulous result.

Thank you team,
Jim, ZL2BMH

If you look at the pictured on their website, the antennas looked like they
were really low - not more than 15 feet or so off the ground. That
probably is why they have been so weak. 73

Bill,

I was relieved to get them on 30M RTTY on 21-Jan in the evening here in IL,
and it was new for me on RTTY, 30M, and 80M.

In general, they were tough to work, and I didn't get them on 160, 15, or
12, bands where I also needed them. I had the entity confirmed previously
other DXpeditions.

I have antenna and noise issues, which no doubt contributed to my
challenges.

I very much appreciate their efforts, accomplishments, and the risks
involved and wish them well.

I'm curious if anyone in the group was able to work VP8STI on RTTY? I was
lucky enough to get them on 15 CW for an all time new one but I never even
heard them on RTTY despite a number of spots and lots of listening.

According to W3UR of the Daily DX, they have now gone QRT due to a safety
issue with ice and potential risk to the Braveheart.
