On more comment on the friend.ini file. Although I do not use the it, I
fully support the use of the friend.ini file. I can't tell you the number of
times I've not seen my call but did see my name and knew the report sent was
for me.

Don't forget about the FMRE (Mexico) RTTY Contest today at 1800Z.

The Friend.ini file is maintained by Don, AF4Z. If you use the Friend file,
I might suggest you contact Don, thank him for maintaining the file and ask
him if he plans on updating it. Don used to be very active on RTTY but I
only worked him once since 2012 (worked in Feb 2015).

Perhaps if he knows his friend file is of use he may continue to update it.
Also, if you are not in the friend file, go to his webpage and fill out the
form. Maybe no one has been filling out the form and he thinks no one is
using the file.

To find out if you are in the file, go to the same webpage, download the
friend.ini file and open it with Notepad then search for your callsign.

I like using it - not sure of why it's not more current.

  'Gun-Free-School-Zone' actually means 'Government Certified, Helpless and
Unarmed Victim Zone.'
