If the station does not have a message programmed to just send the serial
number, they can easily go to keyboard mode and type the serial number only
several times.

We can only hope, more people would read this discussion and prepare more
macros next time. Unfortunately it is rather wishful thinking. There are
way more RTTY contesters than subscribers to this list...
