Steve,
I asked a polite question:

I had a good clear answer from Rick, who I am sure was not offended by my
question. I certainly have nothing but admiration for the N1MM+ development
team.
So why this nonsense about 'grousing/bitching/complaining' , 'fall on his
sword', 'people who become too obsessed with the issue' ?

Hello all,

With respect to all.

After this message from Rick, there should be no more
grousing/bitching/complaining.

He shouldn't have to, nor be expected to 'fall on his sword', over any errors
dealing with WAE.

Put things in some perspective. These are unintentional software bugs,
introduced while attempting to improve the program, by someone not getting paid
for any of his time or efforts, to satisfy people who, in my opinion, become
too obsessed with the issue, and show no appreciation to any of the developers.
If you have issues you can't get past, get your money back, buy a better
program, or build one yourself.

I am no cheerleader for the development team; there are bugs/changes that I've
had heartburn with, but once put into perspective with contesting, my own
narrow-minded needs and ham radio in general, they don't amount to anything to
get worked up over.
