I hope everyone had a great New Year celebration. Also I trust those of
you in the deep freeze found a comfy spot! Last week had quite the
turnout given the end of the year. New stations W2TT along with NCCCers
W1RH and W9KKN were in there with a plethora of our regular stations.
This was the first RTTY Sprint ever for W1RH, and W9KKN must have been
back home /9 even though he's now an NCCC member. Welcome guys and hope
we'll see you again!
This weekend is the first serious RTTY test of the year: ARRL RTTY
Roundup. So let's make sure your diddle machines are ready to go.
Please join us Thursday evening and give everything a checkout. Yes the
format is a little different but jump in and we'll make sure you are
ready for a successful weekend.

Friday, 5 Jan 2018, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 4 Jan 2018 in NA)
-- 1745 - 1815 PST
-- 2045 - 2115 EST
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15/10 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q or band change.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band
-- 100W power limit

select the NCCC NA RTTY SPRINT on the web page to display the scores.
The Help menu pulldown will give you the info needed to setup the most
common logging programs.
Don’t forget to report your score to 3830scores.com, and join us at
0300Z on 3610 kHz (+/- a few for ongoing groups) for comments and
questions (and dinner menus).
