Hello Shelby,

I don’t know if I am getting to the right person or not.

A lady here in town has a couple of old army Teletype machines that her SK
husband probably got from MARS 30 or more years ago.

Can you think of anyone who would be interested in these machines.

What I am asking, could these still be desired by anyone these days?

They are both in a basement and just looking at them in a real dark corner,
they didn’t seem to be rusty, but they are dirty and will need cleaned.

Back in the early 1960’s, I worked for Western Union in Microwave, and
these look like a couple we had back then in our Junction station. We had a
couple of model 15’s and a 26 or two. I left there in the late 60’s and I
have forgot what little bit I knew back then. I think they are an Army
version of the model 15.

Let me know if you can connect me to someone who would like to “rehome”
them. Southern Illinois would be great, or your area. Actually anywhere as
long as they don’t get junked out. I thought of taking one of them and
refresh an old friendship with it, but I have enough irons in the fire.

Thanks for your time,

Phil K9DNH Litchfield, IL
