The initial values of POLLTIME and LINKTIME depend
on the BPS selected for rig control, and on the
slower of the two BPS values for 2R operation.
With effect from V14.01, the POLLTIME and LINKTIME
commands were restored - in the event that the initial
values were not appropriate.
The initial values are
