Guys, I am having a problem on one of my three computers, and need
some help. For some reason, on bootup, I get the "illegal bit" with a
remark about "popstate". If you choose close or ignor, the program
stops.

It will not under any circumstances boot to 98SE, but will go to safe
mode.

When I put the SE disk in, and tried to run setup, it told me I was
trying to install an older version than that current on the computer.

So, the question is:Is there any way to force setup to run on a
machine which already has 98SE on it?
