Just want ya'll to know that we are moving along in trying to figure out an
equitable way of handling our nominations. I sent e-mails to presidents of
all the clubs that will be making nominations to see how they are handling
it. I'm getting some interesting responses which I will share at a later date.
Also, just to see what turns up, I am looking at the lists of top ten
competitors in QRP, Low Power and High Power in the CQWW CW and Phone,
ARRL-DX CW and Phone, and IARU for the past two years. I know some great
ops can be missed in this process, for example someone who only operates in
M/M, or someone who is a great op but is equipment-challenged, but I
thought it might be informative. I will post those results without comment
when I have them put together.
If anyone wants to recommend a way of selecting our nominees, I would
welcome your suggestions.
