NO, PLEASE. Let's not have power multipliers. They are very counter-productive. They encourage operators to use less power than they are capable of using therefore reducing the number of QSOs that they can make, therefore reducing the fun for everyone. There are a number of contests that have this counter-productive rule and even one that doesn't allow stations to run over 100 watts. Fewer QSOs for everyone is the result. 73, John, K4BAI. |
