After reading some notes from past outings and from others, two more things
occur to me:
1. This is sporadic-E season for 10 and given how 6 has been, 10 may open
up at any time during the contest. A likely time would be early evening.
It will be important to keep an ear on 10.
2. 40 may go long early, as it did this past February - although this is a
more Winter type occurrence. I plan on hitting 40 at least two hours before
sundown. At 1 hour before sundown this past Feb the band was already so
long that it was very hard to work the East Coast.
