[SECC] Monthly Informal SECC Meeting

I'd like to see W8JI... I would also like to visit Columbus... Maybe we
could do a family/group visit to Callaway Gardens.. Hey it doesn't have to
be just ham stuff.. Early Spring might be the time for that one. Maybe the
Columbus guys could suggest a restaurant to meet at.

I would be interested.

How about including a visit to a member (or even non-member...who will
then be a potential member) station after the lunch meeting? The lunch
place could be near that QTH. Visiting a station could be done quarterly
if monthly isn't a popular idea.

We can even be as bold as to have a lunch meeting in Columbus, GA, 100
miles south of Atlanta, and home of the infamous K4BAI. (It would also
be a good excuse for me to visit the Port Columbus National Civil War
Naval Museum, http://www.portcolumbus.org/, something that is on my
"Things I Gotta Do Before I Die" list, hi.)

Other stns to visit should include NQ4I and W8JI.
