If I had a family, I would want to involve them in some of my ham
activities...so they will get the idea that other hams are "normal
people" and that ham outings can be fun.
Visiting Callaway Gardens, http://www.CallawayGardens.com/, would be
great for the family. I took my sister and her husband there in April;
we were all first timers.
We especially enjoyed the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center,
