Looks like we should have a good chance to win the Club Aggregate Score
competition for TN QSO Party this year. Unusually short skip on 20 and
15 combined with some backscatter QSOs on the high bands and no long
skip on 40 gave us a chance with a neighboring state that we don't often
have.
So far, I see posted scores from: AA4GA, K1ZZI, N4GG, W4UCZ, N4PN,
KD4QMY, KU8E, and K4BAI. Be sure to show your club as "South East
Contest Club" in your log submission to the sponsor. If any of the rest
of you made even a few QSOs, please send in your logs noting the club
score too.
Club member, John, AD8J was mobile in five counties in NC, but only all
in-state scores or all out-of-state scores count for the club aggregate
score, so John will be out only in-state score for SECC that I know of.
Jeff and I got up there /M last year and maybe we can do that again in
the future. John has a new /M high power set up with a generator on a
cart behind his vehicle. You might want to read his description on his
3830 posting.
Have a good week. 73, John, K4BAI.
