Lost QSOs

I've got about 5000 QSOs in my General QSO log, but since converting to 5.86,
I've been losing QSOs that appear in the editable log window.  Sometimes the
window comes up blank during a restart, other times I get some, but not all,
of the QSOs in the editable log window that were there before the restart.
 I've done a lookup on recently worked stations to see if they were someow
stored, and they were not.  Any thoughts?  Do I need to do a flush edit
before I shut down the program?
