I am not sure what ARRL will accept;however, the rules say to send in a
dupe sheet for EACH band/mode along with the summary information. They will
request the log if they have something they want to look at. (anyone ever had
your FD log requested?)
I usually mail mine, along with hard copy of my FD message, press releases,
all the other proof of bonus point activity materials.
Certainly a log sorted by band /mode and call would be the equivalent of a
simple dupesheet. This could be produced with any simple sorting software,
from your log.dat file. (POST may even break the log down some or all of
the way)
