1) Make sure your TRANSCIEVE DIP switch in the radio is OFF.
2) Try the following LOGCFG.DAT entry, substituting your serial port:

RADIO ONE TYPE = IC765
RADIO ONE RECEIVER ADDRESS = 44

ASK FOR FREQUENCIES = FALSE
