Hi Gang,
I run the latest TR version with my trusty Compaq 486/SL25 laptop. It keys
FB with the HB serial interface. It also runs my Omni 6 just fine from the
same port. But, I cannot get the parallel port to key the rig. I know that I
need to assign that port properly in my input.cfg or logcfg.dat files.
I built interface in the manual with a 2N2222A. I then tried AE0Q's
optoisolator circuit to no avail. the port prints OK, but I really would
like to be able to use computer control AND CW at the same time. I checked
my computers manual to be sure the pin assignments were proper for the
interfaces, and they were.
Any ideas? the QRP ARCI is this weekend and I am the first FOX of the season
on the QRP-L foxhunt next week. I would really like it ALL to work.
