Great to hear about the next version, doc. Thanks!

I run TR under Win98SE in a DOS box, with the minimum set of Windows background tasks running -- Systray and Explorer, plus Pointexe. That's probably unnecessary, but in any case the CW is perfect and I have bags of memory left for TR. BTW, I do Alt-Enter to make the display full-screen and DOS fonts, because the frequency updating on the screen seems to be better than when using Windows fonts (this is a 200 MHz Pentium).

My opinion only, but you need to do a fairly careful job of optimizing memory use under DOS in order to run TR in DOS mode, probably by using QEMM or at least Memmaker to move everything you can out of DOS memory.

73, Pete N4ZR The World HF Contest Station Database was updated October 29. 2469 stations are listed -- 29 new and over 100 updated. Are you current? www.pvrc.org/wcsd/wcsdsearch.htm
