Two VFO's can make S&P more efficient. If you are working your way up
the band
and hear a QSO where a QRZ is still several seconds away, you hit A=B
and spin
the dial to line up another QSO.
You should be able to sense the correct time to hit A/B to be able to
dump your
call in on the original VFO. If you have Dual Receive, even better, In
the meantime,
you have used the time to line up another QSO.
