True for the most part. I have been using W98SE for many years now. 
TRLog will not communicate with windows only virtual serial ports for 
example ones on a multi port PCI card or serial to USB ports...at least 
I have been unsuccessful with this. I HAVE been able to get WinTelnetX 
to use a virtual port to feed cluster info to a "real" serial port though.

You will find that the most modern windows version may allow TRLog to 
run, but the clock may not keep correct time, and the parallel and 
serial ports will be unavailable.

I saw your post about getting locked into 160m. That is a bit odd. Can 
you describe your platform and radios?
