As much as a re-run of the Corsair II would be nice, (I have 1) I think a
rig along the lines of the 540 Triton IV would be the ticket. It was a
bare bones type of rig that would do 100 watts continuous. No external
vfo, no memories, no built in keyer. A digital readout would be nice, but
not needed. And the WARC bands would have to be added in. Thats it. In my
opinion, it was one of the best mid-range radios made by Ten-Tec
