I have gotten used to the sidetone on my Corsair II, and don't mind it. But
it does not have the pleasant sound of a sine wave. The Corsair II is one
of the finest rigs I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot of them. But,
I would rather have a pure sidetone than the square wave tone. But, it
works, and does the job, such as it is.
