That's one reason I sold my Omni 6+ and bought a Yazoo 1000D (no boos please
!) Whenever I wanted to do some quick SWL'ing I had to switch to my Drake
R-8A or to yak with some of my AM buddies I had to fire up the
DX-100B/NC-303 combo- even if for just a quick comment which most of my
operating seems to be these days. I know, I know, I shudda bought a Paragon
2- but I don't even have that option today. In all fairness the 1000D is a
fine radio (like it better than an MP I traded after a month or so). Well
