Hi,
I have used both coax and shielded audio cable.

On my tube rigs and some solid state 100 watt rigs, I have used twisted pair
with no problems of feedback. But shielded wire would be best, or actually,
shielded twisted pair would be the ultimate, with the shield tied to the radio
case. Audio shielded mike wire of the 1/8 inch size is usually more flexible
than small coax. There are a lot of audio wires that would work.
