Fellow TenTec fans:
I have been reading this list for a long time and am amazed at the depth of
knowledge you possess! Now, it is time for me to tap into the collective
expertise of this list.
I am a casual op on SSB and CW, and also enjoy the occasional round of
SWLing, so it seems that the Paragon might be a suitable rig.
What are the differences between the Paragon and the Paragon II? I
understand that the original paragon can be improved by adding a Ghiel
chip, but I don't understand what the improvements are.
I am not in a position to buy one right now (unless someone wants to swap
even up for my Omni B ... nope? Didn't think so) but am collecting
information so that when my bank account recovers from tuition bills, I
will know what I am looking for.
Any words of wisdom on the topic would be greatly appreciated!
