[TenTec] Scout + Centaur ?

I have a scout and wonder if anyone has used one to drive a 
Centaur.  I know the Centaur wants 100 watts for rated output, 
and the scout only makes 50 watts, but wondered if anyone
had tried it and if so with what success.
