Thanks for the note. RF is not an issue. In fact, when I
recorded both segments, I had set up the radio with the recently
learned (learned by me, that is) procedure to practice CW without
putting the radio on the air (Push ST, Push CW, key away). In
previous test setups, I simply ran the RF drive down to
minimum--~0 watts out on the wattmeters.
I wish it was simply an RF problem.
