On my previous post, I should have added that I once used the bumper hitch
on my wifes car to mount an antenna. It worked fairly well, but I would
lose 2 or 3 a year to people "rear ending" the car either at stop signs or
while parking in a lot. Those 3/8 24 studs will not take an impact well at
all.
