The difference is in the higher current of the Radio Shack unit. If your
power supply for the bulb is capable of the higher current, and there is not
any heat sensitive material near the bulb socket, use the Radio Shack bulb.
Check with Auto supply stores, sometimes they carry these 4 digit bulbs, and
check Radio and TV wholesale supply houses. They would carry them, in local
areas, and the national catalog supply houses do as well, but require a
minimum order amount to buy.
