Well Vince it sounds like you are having the same problem with your Omni 6 Plus
as I had with mine two years ago. I also tried my Electro Voice 638, Shure
444, D-104 and even an Kenwood MC-50. No one like my audio with any of the
above.
Then a friend brought over his TT 705 and the audio reports were great. I
ordered one the next day and since have never received a bad audio report. The
Electro Voice, Shure, D-104 and MC 50 all worked good on my Triton Four Digital
and I use the Shure 444 on it all the time but on my Omni 6 Plus they did not.
If you can find someone who will loan you a TT 705 for a test I will bet you
order one. Thats my two bits on the old and great mics of the past.
