I think every one would agree that C++ programs are generally bigger than C
programs.
May not be sure what you are saying about the ports.
The origianl question was about an NT system. We know that NT DOES NOT let
programs talk directly to ports - the task would be aborted as soon as it
tries - so they must go thru standard WIndows interfaces.
WIN95 and WIN 98 will let programs talk directly to the hardware. The
interrupts etc. are simply virtualized.
Now, since Pegasus software is a single version and it apparently does run
on NT, it must be using standard Windoze interfaces and drivers. That is
what one would expect for a VB program.
Be careful about what you load into your machine.
My comment was - I want to see what an install is going to load before I
load....after the fact detective work is the pits.
Boycott vendors if they do not act accordingly even if it includes TT.
