Well Dale -- My last rig stated max output on the AUX circuit was 2
amps AND it was fused so you couldn't exceed it! Why specify a current
at all if it's only dependant on the wire size? That aside it still
doesn't excuse the fact that the line is not switched with the Scout
power switch!
