Phil, AA9ZZ, was inquiring about an amp for his Omni VI. First,
congratulations on purchasing the Omni VI. I have been using one with the
Titan 425 successfully and it works out fine. In fact, I wish those last two
entities would get on the air so I could say I have worked them all, but I am
afraid that is not to be.
I have the Ten Tec Titan 425 legal limit amp for sale, but would prefer a
pickup if at all possible so it can be demonstrated and shipping could be
avoided. Price is $1700, but unfortunately I live in Southern California!
But seriously, Phil, I would highly recommend a 425 because of reliability,
power output, looks and availability of Ten Tec's repair service, which you
probably would never use!
