Having had numerous Japanese VHF rigs, I've grown tired of their
relative lack of sensitivity, selectivity, user friendliness, and strong
signal handling. So I'm going to transverters or maybe my own designs to
maximize these capabilities missing in the rice boxes.
Convenience in swtiching is one of the things left out of the Tentec
transverter line.
Tentec HF rigs have superior dynamic range making them among the best
for transverter IFs.
