Resonant Xfmrs (such as Sola) have the ability to induce 60 hZ AC into most
anything. Even commercially, when using the GE Mastr 2 base stations with
the matching "regulated" supply, (a resonant xfmr type) the supply had to
be physically isolated from anything that had any audio circuitry.
