I don't know if anyone has had this problem before or has heard of it, =
but recently my OMNI V has the following problem, and I hope that the =
solution is near at hand.
Here's the problem.  The radio works fine on receive, but as soon as you =
speak into the mike, or hit the cw key, or use the tune button, the =
display disappears.  The recieve portion of the radio still is =
functioning, and when you turn the radio off and then turn it back on, =
the display returns at the original frequency.  Any simple suggestions, =
or should this go back to TT for a little tlc. It was down there less =
than a year ago for a general going over.  My back up rig( an ICOM =
IC751A) functions just fine using the same antenna setup.
