G'day all,
I recently had the good fortune to acquire a 253 tuner at an estate
sale and in finding a manual I noticed the information that it went
out of production in 1995 and the list price at that time was
US$1,050 - that price could well be the reason it is no longer in
production. Mine works quite well and I only wish the Pegasus could
utilize the automatic band switching capability.
