A USB to serial converter will give you another serial port. And you can
use
WriteLog or MixW to send CW through the serial port and decode CW using
a sound card.
If you do not need QSK you can use a sound card and MixW to send and
decode
CW just like PSK31. This does not use another serial port.
CwType is free software that will send CW from a computer. I do not know
what interface it uses. It is somthing like MOX?
I use an MFJ493 keyer to send keyboard CW on my Pegasus. A keyboard can
plug directly into the memory keyer or you can connect it to a serial
port
on your computer.
