If you're looking for a generic terminal program why don't you just use
Hyperterminal (part of Win95 and Win98) If you can't find it go to
add/remove programs in your control panel, click the windows setup tab,
select communications and check hyperterminal (this is from memory so I may
have mis-named a tab or window, just email me if you can't find it and I'll
help...).
The price is right...free.
