Yup, and then there is that little guy sitting on the electron who swears
that he isn't moving at all and that it's the "electron deficient" atom that
is moving. Whereas the little guy sitting on the "electron deficient" atom
disagrees and states that it is not he but the electron that is moving.
It's all relative.

The holes are where an electron isn't. If electrons flow clockwise in a
circuit then the holes flow counterclockwise.
