Stuart, Sherrill, et al,

Dad-blam it! The FD crew at N4IR had hoped to keep this little jewel a
secret, but it looks like somebody stumbled on it after all. We use one
(1) antenna for FD each year for the past 6-7 years. A 900 foot
horizontal loop at about 50 feet depending on which tree branches are
available from year to year. Feed it with ladder line directly over the
station and (to keep it Ten-Tec related) use the 238 tuner and the OMNI
6 at 5 watts. Check out the last two FD listings for 1A Battery and a
few more before that as 1A (100 watts) for east tennessee contesters
(etc) N4IR. The darned thing has gain on 160 meters, even!

73/CUL,

Jim, N4IR
