It's typical of receivers with a DSP only filtering systems. The same thing
happens with the TS-870 Kenwood. It could very well be that the QRMing
station was in fact transmitting superious signals however DSP seems to
react in a more audible way than standard filters to key clicks, buckshot
and splatter. Yes, I know the Pegasus has a crystal filter ahead of the
11khz DSP but that filter is about 6khz wide or something like that so it
has little effect on QRM less than 6khz away.
This is something you must live with on the Pegasus and it's simply a trade
off for expensive crystal filters.
