Hi,

I just picked up a used Omni V. I am planning on powering it from my trusty
Astron RS20 power supply. I notice in the manual, it mentions that TenTec
power supplies have built in over current protection. I'm sure the Astron
does also, but I get the idea that the TT is better and is considered part
of the protection for the radio against excessive final current with a
mismatched antenna. The manual also mentions a 'magnet circuit breaker'
option for use with not TT supplies. Are these still available from TT?
Should I get one to supplement the over current protection in the Astron? Is
it possible to just get the magnetic circuit breaker from a 3rd party
source?

Should I also consider a magnetic circuit breaker for the power cable for my
Pegasus?

73,
Mark
