mark's got a good point. i was considering getting a kachina a while back.
however, when i read the ads. by kachina vs. the ads. by ten tec on the peg
as well as reading various reviews, i have a hard time convincing myself
that the kachina is worth the extra $1000-1200 or so dollars. don't get me
wrong, i'm *not* stating that the kachina isn't worth what they're asking, i
*am* stating that based on their ads. and the reviews i've read (on both the
kachina & peg), kachina failed to convince me that it's worth it.

yeah i take $$ into acc't, but for me, when i buy anything, $$ is not the
only deciding factor. if i can see that the extra $$ is worth spending on a
competitor's product, i'll spend it. if not, well ...

that being said, as mark stated, the peg's receiver may not be the
top-o-the-line, but is this difference between the kachina and peg worth the
extra? may be for some, and certainly it is for me, however for me the
extra $1000-1200 is too big of a difference. so the price disparity between
the 2 makes the peg *good enough* for me as mark stated.

73's,
j
