I think it's already here, if you think a little outside of the box (or
boxes, in this case). Several of the hams here have teamed up the Pegasus
with the TT RX331 or RX340 computer controlled receivers, using N4PY's
software. While I haven't had a chance to use this combination I have heard
that this is an unbeatable combination. With computer controlled radios,
it's no longer necessary to have all the features in one 'box'.
