Good point Steve.  The "talk" is that automobile electrical systems will be
migrating to 42 volts in the near future so I would expect to see ham rigs
and their attendant power supplies do something similar.

I suspect that you won't see many 200w rigs running on 13.8vdc due to high
current requirements.
